ICSSR Sponsored National Seminar - 2025
The national seminar titled "Emerging Fields in Education
Research: Shaping Future Directions with NEP 2020" aims
to advance academic and policy-oriented discussions on
critical areas of educational transformation outlined in the
National Education Policy (NEP) 2020.
This seminar will provide a platform to engage in dialogues
and workshops focused on understanding the challenges
and opportunities of NEP 2020's implementation across
diverse educational contexts. Key topics will include digital
citizenship and cyber safety, artificial intelligence in
personalized learning, global citizenship education, social- emotional learning, and lifelong learning approaches.
Key Objectives
- To explore emerging and interdisciplinary fields in education research that align with the vision and goals of NEP 2020, such as digital education, mental health, ethical practices, and skill-based learning.
- To facilitate dialogue among scholars, educators, policymakers, and practioners on the challenges and opportunities in implementing NEP 2020 across diverse educational contexts.
- To bridge the gap between policy and practice by generating actionable insights through expert-led workshops, interactive sessions, and research-driven discussions.
- To showcase research findings and practical case studies from institutions and communities across India, highlighting innovative approaches to NEP 2020 implementation.
- To support the development of inclusive, equitable, and future-ready education systems by promoting evidence-based strategies, collaborative networks, and global best practices.
